Locorotondo
Locorotondo can be defined as the balcony of the Murgia dei Trulli.The cummerse, with their characteristic pointed roofs, make the facades of the houses soar. From the belvedere you can admire the vineyards bordered by dry stone walls, ancient farmhouses and thousands of trulli scattered throughout the districts. The historic center of Locorotondo, small and circular, is characterized by flowered balconies that stand out against the white lime and chianche. Not to be missed for music lovers is the Locus Festival, an event held between July and August, with a calendar of musical events ranging from jazz to electronic music, from hip hop to indie.
Locorotondo has a strategic position, being in the heart of the Itria Valley. From here it is possible to reach many tourist locations in a few minutes, such as Martina Franca, Cisternino, Alberobello, Ceglie Messapica, Ostuni, Castellana Grotte, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Taranto and Fasano.
